News for Otakon 2004:
L'Arc~en~Ciel to perform at Otakon
News that is sure to make the hearts of J-rock fans flutter with excitement, Otakon has announced that L'Arc~en~Ciel will be performing at their convention on Satruday, July 31st at 5pm.
Formed in 1991, L'Arc~en~Ciel has written music appearing in titles such as Great Teacher Onizuka, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, and Full Metal Alchemist. Their latest album, "Smile", was released in Japan in March.
This will be L'Arc~en~Ciel's first concert in the United States. Otakon, the largest anime convention in North America, runs from July 30th through August 1st in Baltimore, Maryland.
