Comic Convention with Anime and Costuming programming
RisuCon is an annual celebration of anime, comics, and cosplay in Montgomery County, Maryland, run by the Montgomery County Comic & Cosplay Club (MCCCC). We're especially excited to promote local fandom and artists.
In 2023, the MCCCC held MonkeyCon, but after the event we changed the name to RisuCon. Risu means squirrel in Japanese, Japan is the source of so much of our fandom and inspiration, and... there are a LOT of squirrels in Maryland.
