Alberta Society for Asian Popular Arts

The Alberta Society for Asian Popular Arts (ASAPA) is a not-for-profit group originally formed with the goal of ensuring the continued success of Animethon. Formed under the Societies Act of Alberta in April of 2004, it operates with seven representatives elected from the core membership body. Our mandate is to promote Asian popular arts with our main focus on Japanese pop culture. Annual General Meetings are held every April.
