Paul Goddard
Actor
Sydney, Australia
Biography:
Paul Goddard has been involved with two Sci-Fi classics: The Matrix, and the Henson/Sci-Fi Channel's extraordinary Farscape series. Many don't realize that the man behind the mask of the unpredictable Banik Stykera, Stark, in Farscape is also the man behind the shades of Agent Brown in the original Matrix.
Having spent most of the 1990s establishing an impressive career in theatre Paul decided to turn his attention to film. He soon landed the role of one of The Agents in The Matrix. After 8 months of playing a computer generated operative it was time to put away those shades and go straight onto the set of Jane Campion's Holy Smoke, alongside Kate Winslet and Harvey Keitel.
Not long after that Paul was offered the guest role of Stark, in a double episode of series one of Farscape. Impressed by Paul's take on the character the producers invited him to come back as a regular in series two. Paul joined the main cast for most of series three leaving towards the end to return to the theatre under the direction of Academy Award nominee and multi Emmy winner Judy Davis, in School For Scandal at the Sydney Opera House. Paul returned to Farscape for series four and the mini-series, Peacekeeper Wars.
Paul was born in Reading, England, migrated to New Zealand at the age of 10, and took off for Australia to study acting at age 19. He now lives Sydney, Australia where he spends a great deal of time in his music studio working on various projects. In 2007 he released his first album of original material, 2am Flight.
