Biography:
Prior to voicework, Kirk Thornton had careers in the theater, film, and TV industries. Directors found that Kirk had voice acting talent, so they entrusted him with roles such as Askeladd in "Vinland Saga," Gabumon and the various Garurumons in "Digimon," Jin in "Samurai Champloo," Tanjuro in "Demon Slayer," Kisame and Shukaku in "Naruto," Yujiro Hanma in "Baki," and more. Some of his video game roles include Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog, Igor in various Persona games, and Saïx in Kingdom Hearts. He can also be heard in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," "Love, Death & Robots," and "Clarence." Directing credits include Final Fantasy VII Remake, Fantasy VII Rebirth, Kingdom Hearts, and more. Kirk has also voiced the holy trinity of Batman, Superman, and Jesus.
