Greetings Everyone,
As many of you know, Hurricane Who has had more than its fair share of setbacks this year, including guest cancelations, unforeseen circumstances that have impacted the availability of our volunteers and staff, and the unfortunate shooting at ZombieCon which has understandably made many attendees and guests reluctant to attend Florida cons until the shooter is caught.
First and foremost, please know that the safety of everyone at our convention (guests, attendees, and volunteers) is our first priority. We stay in constant contact with both hotel security and the Orange County Sherriff's Office to provide the safest environment that we can.
However, due to these and other issues, we feel the best way to provide a quality experience for attendees is to reduce the scope of this year's convention. We are closing additional sales for Hurricane Who 2015 effective immediately.
In appreciation of your patience and understanding, those of you who have purchased advance tickets to Hurricane Who 2015 will also receive complimentary admission to Hurricane Who 2016, along with free admission and special VIP privileges at certain other upcoming Hurricane Who events we will be announcing in the coming days. We have some exciting things planned for spring, and as loyal 2015 HW attendees, your spots are already reserved!
For those of you who are going to be in town and joining us regardless of what happens, we are going to make sure that you have an experience that you won't forget.
Please know that this decision was not easy to come to, but it is for the best. We feel that this is the best way to maintain the level of interaction, activity, and overall quality you've come to expect from Hurricane Who.
