Anime Convention
Ridonka~Con was voted upon by the Murray State University anime club (Friends of Anime, F.o.A.) on September 11th, 2009. The club decided that a one-day convention would be a worthwhile venture as it would provide entertainment and a chance for the local anime community to come together and possibly break the ice before larger local conventions. The name was ushered in under what was originally simply an inside joke between friends about hosting a convention at a hunting lodge in the middle of nowhere. While the host of Ridonka~Con is not a hunting lodge, but rather the prestigious Murray State University, we are dedicated to keeping the convention to its original ideals; simplicity, ease, and relaxtion.
