It's our unfortunate responsibility to let you know that the Milwaukee Comic Con this week has been postponed by the venue, the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds.

We just got off the phone with them, and they are both turning the fairgrounds into an emergency COVID hospital as well as housing national guardsmen in response to the rioting taking place in the area. Obviously this is a quickly transforming situation and we're waiting for the word back from the venue on what we can look forward to, but the state of Wisconsin took the decision out of our hands and we're now watching the situation in the area develop along with everyone else.

We'll be in touch throughout the process and will let everyone know as soon as we have any news.
Statement from venue: "Comic Con organizers and State Fair Park officials have mutually agreed that due to the National Guard currently mobilized at State Fair Park, and the Wisconsin Department of Administration and Department of Health Services preparing to open the Alternate Care Facility for COVID-19 patients next week at State Fair Park, the Milwaukee Comic Con event scheduled for October 10 has been postponed. Organizers are working with State Fair Park staff to secure a future date."
