Biography:
Beginning his career in 2010's The Cut, Tosin Cole has gone on to star in many television shows and films - all culminating in his current role on Doctor Who as Ryan Sinclair - companion to the Thirteenth Doctor.

Receiving his first significant TV role as Sol Levi in EastEnders: E20 (a spin-off of the British soap opera EastEnders) in 2010, he quickly went on to be cast in other British drama favorite Hollyoaks.

In the years following, Cole went on to star in a 2013 episode of the BBC medical drama Holby City, played his first cinematic film role in Gone Too Far!, and had an additional film role in Second Coming.

In 2014, he was featured in miniseries The Secrets. In 2015, Cole had roles in ITV drama Lewis and in historical series Versailles. That year also brought an appearance from Cole in the film Star Wars: The Force Awakens as X-Wing pilot Lt. Bastian.

The year 2017 was a particular busy one for Cole. He starred in short film Father of Man, had a featured role in film Unlocked, and was announced to have been cast in the 11 series of Doctor Who as a companion to the Thirteenth Doctor.

He currently stars as current companion Ryan Sinclair in Doctor Who.
