Steampunk Event

On May 7th and 8th, 2011, citizens and visitors to the beautiful and historic city of Waltham, Massachusetts may attend a festival like no other. International Steampunk City, presented by the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation, is a sort of Ringling Brothers meets the Industrial Revolution event that encompasses the entire downtown area. A small "museum that could," the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation is working with the City of Waltham, the Waltham West Suburban Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Waltham Business Partnership, the Waltham Tourism Council, Steampuffin, and the New England Steampunk Community to create an event that blends historic Victorian sensibility with the whimsical Steampunk movement.
