HallowCon 2020
October 30 - November 1, 2020 Cancelled
Econo Lodge
Dalton, GA
Horror Convention
Hey everyone, this is Joe McKeel, otherwise known to the world at large as JoeDog from the HallowCon Literary Society. We'll just call it "HallowCon" for short. Makes things easier on all of us.
I've held the title of Chairman of HallowCon since 2016 and have been an integral part of this convention since 2006. We have made many amazing changes since 2002, and 2020 will be no different.
We would LOVE for all our friends, family, fans, neighboring conventions, and celebrities to visit with us on Halloween Weekend, but that would be in poor judgment due to the current climate.
Upon meeting with Hotel staff in Dalton, Georgia, we came to the agreement amicably, it is neither SAFE, nor WISE in any way shape or form to continue the convention in a PHYSICAL, IN-PERSON arrangement. HOWEVER, HallowCon is NOT canceled for 2020. We are just moving into the weird, wild world of Cyberspace. Did we mention this will be absolutely... FREE?
Yes, we have lost our mind a little bit during the pandemic, but you reap all the rewards.
