The House of Afros, Capes & Curls Inc. presents The Juneteenth Steampunk Tea Party. A Juneteenth celebration of Black Victorian excellence celebrating Black Victorian-era inventors, entrepreneurs and activists, through immersive activities promoting historical knowledge, STEAM education and community engagement. Open to the community, participants are invited to dress in Victorian era or steampunk modified Victorian era clothing, and participate in conversations, activities. We will examine the intersectionality of history, technology, and the future.
