Biography:
MIREI (Mirei Touyama), a down to earth 18 years old Japanese high schooler, is definitely a new kind of singer song writer representing her own SNS generation.

She won Japan's biggest dance competition when she was only ten, and has performed at some of the hottest clubs in NYC since she was 13. MIREI was also featured in Vy Higginsen's Gospel For Teens (the prestigious choir which won national competitions and got Emmy for CBS/60 Minutes documentary), winning first place at the legendary Amateur Night at Apollo and releasing her US debut single, "Tattoo" when she was only 14. On June 25th 2014, MIREI released her major debut single, "Fallin' Out/I Wanna No feat. SHUN" from Sony Music Japan and scored #1 on iTunes R&B/Soul chart followed by her special appearance at BETX during the 2014 BET Awards in Los Angeles along with young US R&B stars like Tinashe, Jacob Latimore and more.

On July 27th 2017, MIREI released her 12 song debut album titled "My Way" that again charted #1 on iTunes, and also featured by Radio Fish for their summer smash, "Golden Tower" that viewed more than 2 million times in first 7 days on YouTube.

Following her latest single, "By Your Side", MIREI made a live appearance at Anime Convention in Sacramento this January, and performed her original songs as well as a couple of covers including her rendition of Porter Robinson/Madeon's "Shelter" and "Formation" by Beyoncé with the help of Dancing Dolls R. It was fire and many audiences described her as savage!

With a powerhouse, expressive voice, fierce dance moves and a personality that lights up the stage, MIREI proves that even though she's Japanese, she's got American R&B and Dance Music in her soul.
