News for Castle Point Anime Convention 2008:

Dates announced for Castle Point Anime Convention in Hoboken, New Jersey

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HOBOKEN, NEW JERSEY - November 10, 2007 - The Stevens Anime Club is pleased to announce the official date of Castle Point Anime Convention, as well as convention dates, guests, and activities.

Castle Point Anime Convention will be held on April 13th of 2008 at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. Pre-registration is only $5 and is currently open.

Japanese punk band Peelander-Z, and 8-bit artists Nullsleep and Bit Shifter will be performing at Castle Point Anime Convention as this years musical guests. Other events include board and card gaming, karaoke provided by WCPR Castle Point Radio Station, video gaming provided by C2GS, the Computer and Console Gaming Society of Stevens Institute, as well as interesting and informative panels and workshops and of course, anime DVD screenings, live action movies, and anime music videos. A manga library provided by AnimeNEXT will be available for those just wanting to relax and read. Castle Point Anime Convention will also be hosting an Artist Alley. Here, artists may show off their work and sell some of their work, too. An art auction will also be held, where artists may auction off their work.

ABOUT CASTLE POINT ANIME CONVENTION: Castle Point Anime Convention is created and organized by the members of the Stevens Anime Club and will be held on April 13th of 2008 on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.
