News for Bishie Con 2011:

Bishie Con announces Emirain and Warky T. Chocobo as guests for 2011

Bishie Con, the Midwest's yaoi and slash convention, will bring Teahouse creators Emirain to St. Louis this December. The two-woman webcomic team will present a panel on self-publishing comics as well as a Q&A about their ongoing series Teahouse.

Warky T. Chocobo, singer of yaoi parodies, will be returning for 2011 to perform a concert of naughty Christmas carols and entertain into the night with his "Warky After Dark" panel.

Both Warky and Emirain will attend the Sunday brunch, an intimate sit-down breakfast with the convention guests. TIckets for the brunch are $15 and available online only until December 7.

Other featured performances at this year's cabaret-style event will include drag queen Butterscotch Betters, Gorgeous Phineas: Strip Magician, and lounge singer That Bawdy Blonde Bitch.

Bishie Con, now in its third year, will have a shortened format this year though we are packing as much fun as possible into the Saturday/Sunday event, including a cabaret-style main events room, two panel rooms, and an art show.

Bishie Con is December 17-18 at the Crowne Plaza Clayton in St. Louis, MO. Tickets are $20 until December 7 and $25 at the door. Register at http://bishiecon.com.
