Biography:
Team Whatever, together since 2006, has competed successfully at many cons around the country. The founders are Teresa Ceballos and Elise Mann.

Elise Mann is from Olathe, KS and has attended every Naka-Kon since it's origin. She has been cosplaying officially since 2005 and has numerous wins and titles for cosplay to her name. Together with Teresa Ceballos she is a founder of Team Whatever Cosplay. Her specialty is in makeup, wigs, and prop work and she will soon be moving out to Los Angeles to pursue a career in cinema with these skills. Elise is also the founder and first president of the JCCC Anime Club.

Besides being a cosplayer Elise is an employee at Wayside Waifs, a no-kill animal shelter. This is evident by her four dogs Duke the Great Dane, Nala the Doberman mix, Annabelle the coonhound, and Pip the Papillon. Elise also rides horses in the sport of dressage and has done so since the age of 5. She has several national titles in this sport.

Teresa Ceballos has been an avid comic book and anime fan as far as she can remember. She learned that it was totally acceptable to go to these conventions decked out as popular and favorite characters. She then devoted her time to studying garment construction, historical costume, and tailoring to enhance her sewing and constructing capabilities.

Since the beginning of time, well since people looked at an object and decided "Hey I think that would look good on my body", people have been crafting and creating costume for a myriad of purposes. Teresa is thrilled that we've evolved so much to create fantastic materials that are readily available for costuming purposes.
