Biography:
Kevin Bolk is a freelance illustrator and cartoonist known for his colorful illustrations, expressive characters, and quirky sense of humor.

Born in Washington D.C., Kevin has been drawing cartoon characters since his fingers became dexterous enough to do so. He formed his first creative team, Severed Limbs Studios, in 1999. The studio would go on to publish "Fun Tales of Random Dementia", a quarterly humor anthology magazine, as well as the pocket novella, "Sisters of Sanctus. Both projects, as well as the limited run of merchandise tie-ins, featured illustration by Bolk.

After the Studio dissolved in 2002, Kevin began to take design commissions for veterans groups and charity organizations, everything from greeting card design to magazine and website graphics. He was also a regular art contributor and cover artist for Futures Mysterious Anthology Magazine, winner of the Predators & Editors Poll for Best Fiction Publication.

In 2003, Kevin became Diamond Comics Distributors manga specialist, working closely with companies like Viz, TokyoPop and other publishers to promote anime and manga in comic shops. He would go on to found Interrobang Studios, specializing in weekly web comics. His more recent work appears in the PC-game, Artisan from Draco Software as well as on the benefit albums Voices for Peace and Voices For Tolerance. He has also appeared in Udon Entertainment's Darkstalkers Tribute Book and recently completed "Go Diego Go!" comics for Nickelodeon's international publications.

Now residing in Baltimore Maryland, Kevin still maintains Interrobang Studios and produces comics exclusively for kevinbolk.com. When he's not busy with freelance projects, Kevin teaches cartoon drawing to young and old through the Anne Arundel County Public Library, Maryland Writer's Association, and other local groups. He's currently developing a series of all-ages graphic novels and pursuing work in the field of children's book illustration.
