Biography:
Born and raised in Gippsland, Australia, Madeleine Rosca earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Monash University before travelling to Melbourne to study Multimedia and Animation. After being employed as a graphic designer, and later as a public librarian, she moved to Hobart, Tasmania to pursue her own creative work. Madeleine has published three volumes of her popular OEL (Original English Language) manga series Hollow Fields. She has worked as a freelance illustrator with clients such as Melbourne-based publisher Text Publishing, Australian rock singer Sarah McLeod and US-based manga publisher Seven Seas Entertainment, and is currently writing a new manga series for release in late 2010.
